The operation process of Borey Advanced SMT mounting machine



The workflow of SMT SMT mounting machine roughly includes the following processes: PCB board fixation, nozzle selection, feeder selection, component picking, component detection, displacement positioning, component placement and mounting, and board output

1. The PCB board to be installed enters the working area of the mounting machine and is fixed in the predetermined position;

2. The components are installed through the feeder at the position set by the program, where they are absorbed by the mounting head of the SMT machine

3. Move the mounting head to the suction position, open the vacuum, and the suction nozzle absorbs the corresponding component set by the program through negative pressure. Then, detect whether the component has been sucked through the sensor;

4. The mounting head uses a visual recognition and positioning system to read component features from the component library and compare them with the extracted components (such as appearance, size, etc.). If they do not match, the components will be thrown into the waste box. If they do, the center position and angle of the components will be calculated;

5. According to the set program, the mounting head is moved to the position set by the program to align the center of the component with the mounting position point of the PCB board;

6. The mounting head lowers the suction nozzle to the height set by the program (the mounting height of the component is set in advance in the program library), turns off the vacuum, and the component is mounted on the corresponding PCB pad;

7. After all PCB board components are installed, the suction nozzle returns to its original position, and the PCB is transported to the next SMT process through the track. Repeat this process to complete more PCB board mounting work.
